Kundalini: The Path to the Kingdom of Heaven within...

Source - Jeremy McDonald

The Kundalini or the Coiled ONE who lies in the lowest part of our Chakra System (root chakra); when awakened it rises through the 7 Gates (7 Chakras) it ascends up what is called the: Sushumna; and as it makes it's ascent it activates each Chakra along it's path... as it does this it changes the nervous system within the body opening up new pathways and attuning the body to the new energy. It rises up and illuminates all the Chakras of the body and illuminates the body.

What is interesting is the Kundalini as it runs up Sushumna it also runs with what is called the IDA and the Pingala described below:
  • Ida is associated with lunar energy. The word ida means "comfort" in Sanskrit. Idā has a moonlike nature and feminine energy with a cooling effect. It courses from the left testicle to the left nostril and corresponds to the Ganges river.
  • Pingala is associated with solar energy. The word Pingala means "tawny" in Sanskrit. Pingala has a sunlike nature and masculine energy. Its temperature is heating and courses from the right testicle to the right nostril. It corresponds to the river Yamuna.
The Ida and Pingala are often seen as referring to the two hemispheres of the brain.
  • Pingala is the extroverted, solar, and corresponds to left hemisphere .
  • Ida is the introverted, lunar, and refers to the right hemisphere of the brain.
What I find amazing is most of us have studied and heard of these terms when speaking about Hinduism or Buddhism; especially if you have studied the spiritual meanings of yoga then you definitely understand the terms above and can probably go into a lot more detail then I'm explaining so far in this blog.

Now what if I was to tell you that the Seven Chakras are talked about within the Christian bible as well?

It's amazing to me that the modern day Christian movement has forgotten or does not teach the wisdom taught by their own masters and as much as it amazes me I also know the reason why we miss so much if we only look at the surface.

So if we were to take a look at the first verse in Revelations Chapter 5:

Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.  - Revelations 5:1

7 Seals? Well there we have it.... 7 Seals or 7 Gates - or alas 7 Chakras... all very similar.
  • The 7 Gates are discussed in the story of Inanna and her descent into the underworld as she crosses through 7 gates shedding away her stories about her life, & freeing herself from the baggage preventing her from Illumination.
  • 7 Chakras as I talked about above when I described the Kundalini
  • Now in biblical scripture  we are talking about 7 seals..
The similarities are amazing and it's very obvious that each of them represent the same thing but in different stories.

So how can the current ministers, priests and or pastors of churches miss this very scripture?

To answer that question let's bring in another scripture from Isiah:

The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep:

    He has sealed your eyes (the prophets);

he has covered your heads (the seers).

And then going on to say:

For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.” 12 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”

So basically the modern day churches are not able to speak of this wisdom because they, like much of the world, are asleep.... and because they are asleep they cannot see their own empowerment or their birthright of the heaven that is within them.

So how does one see you might be asking?

This is spoken about in Isiah 5:6-10 when it is said:

Then I saw a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing at the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. The Lamb had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne. And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people. And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll

    and to open its seals,

because you were slain,

and with your blood you purchased for God

persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.

You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,

and they will reign[b] on the earth.”

Now what does the term "slain" mean within the bible? Simply it means someone who has been slain with the "Holy Spirit" ... so overcome by the bliss of spirit they are illuminated through their whole body as shown with the reference to the 7 horns (which in biblical terms means highest, exalted, strength or honour). The 7 eyes are the illuminated eyes to see and of course for the 7 spirits of God on Earth. Sounds similar to our 7 chakras right? When the Kundalini rises then the Chakras are illuminated.

The lamb in the bible was often used as a symbol for peace purity and it would stand to reason a person who was awakened filled with the illumination of the Kundalini energy rising and overwhelmed by the Holy spirit would be at peace.

I believe it's vitally important for all of us to know we are capable of waking up our body, mind and souls bringing them into a synergy with each other to find this illumination.

It will of course take practice and it will take patience and it is not something we can force.

Through our daily practice of meditation and breathing exercises we will be able to find this ascension gift and we will inherit the Kingdom of Heaven within us.

Much love to all of you!
